Tash, together with her husband, Wayne, started Peninsula Fresh Organics (PFO) in 2010.

She left her career in IT to work on the farm back in 2009 where she learnt about the planting and growing of seedlings, and the harvesting of vegetables, which she then sold at Farmers Markets around Melbourne. Initially these vegetables were sold as ‘Chemical Free’ until the VFMA (Victorian Farmers Markets Association) stated that they could only make this claim if they were Certified Organic.

This was to fit in with the VFMA Accreditation rules, and was one of the driving forces for PFO to obtain their Organic Certification.

Robbie has extensive experience within the industry, owning multiple fruit and vegetable shops throughout his career, starting his first shop with his Dad, Charlie in 1981.

Robbie also has a long history of farming, owning a 40 acre Strawberry and vegetable farm in Dandenong, in the early 1990’s.

Robbie later joined PFO in 2016 as Farm & Operations manager and oversees the daily running of the both PFO and Peninsula Organic Farmgate at Baxter.

In light of the ever-growing demand for Certified Organic produce, we have now introduced home delivery via our online store to be able to provide our fresh produce beyond our local areas.

Robbie and Tash both have a passion for Organic farming and good quality, Certified Organic fresh produce.  These include soil health, environmental sustainability, nutritional value and better farming practices.  They believe in the benefits of Organic Certification as this a trust mark, and not someone’s interpretation of Organic.
